Youths today are different.
They have more complex needs and perhaps a greater reliance on social media for self-affirmation. Church-going teens spend more time on their Instagram than meditating on God's words and it doesn't help that, as attention span gets shorter, it is even harder to engage them during Sunday School lessons.
To be effectively touching their lives, how can we creatively bring them before Christ?
Join us as we unpack teaching & learning pedagogies to tackle these evolving needs and enrich ourselves as educators. This workshop is for Sunday school teachers whose students are aged 12 - 18 Years-old.
Desired Outcomes Achieved:
i. Teaching Methods – To understand what is 21st Century learning and learn creative teaching strategies to make biblical principles and values more relevant and personalized;
ii. Curriculum innovation - To design more creative lesson plans and engaging learning activities; and
iii. Network Sharing – To create a community of like-minded Sunday School educators who are passionate about learning and encouraging one another.
